Day 281 - Amboseli National Park, Kenya

Don't know what the day is or anything but we are in a national park in Kenya, very near to the border with Tanzania and in the foothills of Mt. Kilimanjaro, called Amboseli.

We have just come back from an evening safari tour and quite simply it was stupendous.

Topped off with drinks served on top of a hill in the middle of the park just as the sun was going down.

The boys are all; can we get up at 4:30am to go on the early morning tour, which actually doesn't start until 6:00am.

The wildlife and scenery here are everything you could wish for. We saw a herd of 200 elephants cross right in front of us. We have recorded 25 new animals for our trip record. We have seen some of the largest birds in the world (Maribou Stork, Cranes, Eagles, Kites Egrets - you name it). Tonight we saw male and female lions, wildebeast, gazelles, hippos, hyenas, zebra, impalas and more. They are just the ones I remember.
