Day 273 - Cape Town - 6th May, 2005

A couple of days ago I had gone down to the British Airways office and changed our flights to leave Cape Town a day later than we had scheduled. I am very glad we did otherwise we would have been flying to Nairobi today with 2 boys badly affected with food poisoning.

They both spent nearly all day in our room either in bed or on the toilet. Julian had the worst bout as I think that Sammy was able to expel most of his when he was sick yesterday. Julian wasn't sick but he spent twice as much time as Sammy on the toilet. They really were in a poor state. Not quite as bad as the problem that Julie and I had in India but getting there.

We packed our bags and prepared ourseleves for the 2 flights to Nairobi tomorrow. Julian and Sammy were able to watch a Garfield DVD on the computer so by the end of the day they were cheering up a little.
