Mummy is back and the tour continues. Where shall we go now?
We set off pretty early to go back to the RV rental station in Las Vegas so they could adjust the lights downwards properly. This they did with a vengeance and the headlights now light up the front bumper pretty well and not much else. Still that is better than blinding the on coming motorist.
After we had visited them we set off in earnest to hit some more tourist spots. Death Valley was the first. We saw some remarkable scenery coming into and going along Death Valley but by the time we arrived in the area it was beginning to get dark so we simply steered for the RV park in Stovepipe Wells (named because there was a well there in the gold rush days which was marked with a stove pipe) and hooked up there. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant there and enjoyed the campfire atmosphere of the place. There were no trailer renters here only true adventurers wanting to be out in the desert under the stars.
